December Guest Designer

Hello all,
I admit, I was a little surprised and nervous when I was asked to be the guest designer for the month of December for Scrap'n with Flair.  I love to scrapbook but I wasn't sure I had enough experience and talent to really showcase the great product Scrap'n with Flair sells.  I hope my creations won't disappoint!

I started with a card using a card topper by flower soft.

To add some flair to the topper I used a product that I love, flower soft, on the penguins face and the snow on the tree.  I also added some icicle stickles to some of the snowflakes in the sky, the igloo and outlined the star on the tree.

The next card uses the Dear Santa Collection by Darkroom Door.

I tried to create the look of images in a window which are very simple to use cutout pictures.  The "Happy Christmas" stamp is also from Darkroom Door and I once again used flower soft for the snow on the window ledges.

The third card also includes the use of a Darkroom Door stamp.

The background and texture paper is from the Bo Bunny line and the flower accessories can also be purchased from the Scrap'n With Flair online store.  I used a touch of the stickles to give the flowers and leaf a little glitter as well.

My next project was a Christmas tag.
I started by using some distress inks and a blending tool by Tim Holtz to give a little bit of an antique look.  The card cutout is another product of Darkroom Door.

My true passion is page layouts and lately they have all pertained to my son so unfortunately because the layouts I have done are related to winter and his first Christmas, they don't have pictures yet but hopefully you will get the idea anyways.

It looks quite plain without the pictures but I have written photos in all the places I intend to place them.  The background and texture paper is once again Bo Bunny and the little boy stamp in by Sugar Plums.  I used Tim Holtz distress inks and a waterbrush to give the little boy some color and Say It In Crystals on every snowflake on the page which can be found at Scrap'n With Flair as well as the silver ribbon.

My next and last layout page was made for my son's first Christmas so, once again, no pictures but probably my favourite use of Scrap'n With Flair products.

I absolutely love this Bo Bunny paper, so cute and fun.  I once again used the Say It In Crystals for a little added sparkle and I also used a little bit of stickles here and there to add a little sparkle as well.  The hanging Christmas ornaments were on a page all there own and I just cut them out to use them on my own page.

That's all for now, I still have plenty of product left in my kit package from Scrap'n With Flair so we'll see if I can manage to add a few more items in December and don't forget to visit Scrap'n With Flair online for all the great product used in these creations!

Thanks,
Kristelle
